Tips for the use of kompreno

Change language

Change your language at will: German, English, French, Italian or Spanish. However, not all articles are available in all languages because our publishing partners grant us varying rights. If you find an error in a translation, we would be thankful if you could report it to us via the link at the bottom of the page so that we can improve it as quickly as possible.

Profile

Personal profile. Here you can manage your subscription, e.g. by upgrading, changing your details, downloading invoices or cancelling your subscription.
Change preferences. This is where you can update your reading preferences. This allows us to recommend material on the front page that we hope will be most interesting to you.
Personal reading history. Your personal reading history collects articles you have read recently. You can revisit them at any time, e.g. to recommend them.
Log out. If you do not wish to remain permanently logged in (e.g. on a device you share with others), you can log out here.

Search

You can use the search function to quickly find articles on specific topics. The search extends to all articles in our collection.

Trending Topics

The trending topics List shows you the terms and topics that have a high relevance in the overall selection of all available articles. One click shows you a list of articles within our collection that are related to the selected topic.

Personal reading list

The personal reading list on our front page recommends exactly ten articles at any given time based on your stated preferences. However, you can make an adjustment: Move the slider to the right to tend to see more recent articles. Move the slider to the left if you want the selection to be even more based on your stated content preferences.

Recommend an article

At the end of each article, you can send its full text to any person - in any language we have available. The recipient will receive the full article by e-mail, and you will also be sent a copy automatically. Try it out!
